Fantasy Brown Marble Kitchen

Fantasy Brown is a marble that behaves more like a landscape than a pattern. Grey and brown veining moves across the slab in wide bands, so the layout matters enormously: choose the wrong section of the slab and the drama lands in the wrong place.

We planned the cuts around the movement so the strongest veining sits where you actually see it, and kept the seams inside quieter passages of the stone. Marble wants a little more care than granite or quartz, and we go through that with every homeowner before the install rather than after it.

Living with marble

• Wipe spills promptly, particularly anything acidic
• Use a board rather than cutting on the surface
• Expect the stone to develop a patina, which is part of the material
